	AIM HIGH: Niacin Plus Statin to Prevent Vascular Events The purpose of this study is to determine whether raising “good cholesterol” with a drug based on the vitamin niacin, while lowering “bad cholesterol” with a statin drug, can prevent more heart disease than the statin alone.
	ALTITUDE A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel-Group Study to Determine Whether, in Patient with Type 2 Diabetes at High Risk for Cardiovascular and Renal Events, Aliskiren, on Top of Conventional Treatment, Reduces Cardiovascular and Renal Morbidity and Mortality.

	TOPCAT Trial of Aldosterone Antagonist Therapy in Adults with Preserved Ejection Fraction Congestive Heart Failure (TOPCAT).
	TRA2P A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of SCH 530348 in addition to standard of care in subjects with a history of Atherosclerotic Disease: Thrombin Receptor Antagonist in Secondary Prevention of Atherthrombotic Ischemic Events (TRA2P – TIMI 50).
